Pious Associations for Children

Pious Associations for Children at St. Mother Teresa Syro-Malabar Catholic Church

Our church is home to three vibrant Pious Associations for Children, each offering a unique and enriching experience for young people to grow in their faith and develop a strong spiritual foundation.

Jesus Kids (Grades: JK&SK):

Inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus, this group focuses on nurturing the spiritual and personal growth of young children. Through age-appropriate activities, games, and stories, Jesus Kids creates a fun and engaging environment where children can discover their faith and build a strong foundation for their future.

Holy Childhood / Thirubalasakyam (Grades: 1-4):

This association is specifically designed for children who have not yet received their First Holy Communion. It aims to nurture their spiritual growth, instill Christian values, and empower them to become responsible and compassionate individuals. The children actively participate in various activities, guided by the motto “let the children help the children and pray for one another.” Under the patronage of the Child Jesus and Mother Mary, they receive spiritual support and guidance.

Cherupushpam Mission League (Grades: 5-12):

Named after the Malayalam word for “Little Flower,” this association brings together young people who are passionate about mission and service. Inspired by the example of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the patron saint of children, Cherupushpam Mission League empowers young people to live their faith through outreach and service to others.
